About the Comprehensive Plan Implementation Committee
The Green Isle Comprehensive Plan Implementation Committee serves as an advisory body to the City Council, ensuring that the goals and recommendations outlined in the city’s comprehensive plan are actively pursued. The committee works to guide the city’s long-term growth and development by monitoring progress, identifying priorities, and recommending actions that align with the plan’s vision.
The committee collaborates with city officials, residents, and stakeholders to support initiatives related to land use, infrastructure, economic development, and community well-being. It may also provide input on policy updates, funding opportunities, and strategic planning efforts to help Green Isle achieve its desired future.
The committee consists of members appointed by the City Council, each serving a one-year term. Members are expected to actively participate in meetings and contribute to the implementation of the comprehensive plan. Those interested in serving on the committee or learning more about its work are encouraged to attend meetings or contact City Hall for additional details.
